iran press USelection Why are American MEK supporters targeted now? http://bit.ly/GXfomH After the US court decision about the mandamus of the MEK (the main Iranian opposition movement known by their Farsi name, Mojahedin-e-Khalq) on their unjust designation as a foreign terrorist group, came an orchestrated campaign against US dignitaries, military and political personalities who have expressed their support for the MEK.

But why all these allegations now?

The simple truth is that if the State Department had any logical argument about this group and its links to terrorism, it would have provided it to the court and to the media in order to justify the designation. And that would have been the end of argument.

Bipartisan Leaders Urge Removal of MEK from FTO;Denounce Attempt to Silence State Department Policy Critics

http://bit.ly/GLbayP
With a federal appeals court deadline looming for the U.S. State Department to answer why it has defied earlier court rulings requiring review of a decision to maintain the main Iranian opposition movement, the Mujahedin-e Khaq (MEK) on the terrorist list, top former US officials and Members of Congress are urging the Department to remove the group immediately.

"I believe we will not only get our day in court, I believe we will succeed," former U.S. Department of Homeland Security Director Tom Ridge told an audience of Members of Congress, staff members, and Iranian-Americans during an event, marking the Iranian New Year, Nowrouz. "Sometimes justice takes a little longer than normal, but sooner or later, righteousness and the law prevail, and we will prevail."

Other speakers included Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), the House Foreign Affairs Committee Chair, Rep. Mike Coffman (R-CO), Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) and retired Army Col. Wesley Martin, who commanded Camp Ashraf.

At issue is the fate of 3,400 Iranian dissidents now housed at Camp Ashraf and Camp Liberty in Iraq; their safe relocation has been vastly complicated by the State Department's refusal the make a decision on the Status of the MEK.

In 2010, a three-judge panel in the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit unanimously ruled that the State Department had violated the due process rights of the MEK and ordered the Obama administration to revisit the issue. Since then, the State Department continues to be in violation of the due process in virtue of its refusal to make a decision based on instructions given by the Court.

Earlier this month, attorneys for the MEK filed a writ of mandamus seeking the court's intervention in light of State inaction. The court did so expeditiously, and gave the government a deadline of March 26 to respond to the mandamus.

In the meantime, in a move which some observers believe is tied to the court developments, the Treasury Department is apparently contemplating a "potential" investigation into the source of funding for events where a number of senior former federal law enforcement, intelligence and national security officials had urged that the MEK be dropped from the State Department's terror list and the residents of Ashraf be protected.

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-CA, who chairs the House Foreign Affairs Oversight and Investigations subcommittee, has called this inquiry "a travesty," adding that it is "a sin that our government is going after these people trying to support the people of Iran."

"It seems that the method to silence those who are in favor of the liberation of the MEK from the foreign terrorist organization... is to attack them personally... That is not going to work. Whoever is behind the attacks on these good men and women with unbelievable credentials, who believe in the de-listing of the MEK, it will not succeed," emphasized the Texas Republican, Rep. Ted Poe.

Since the Court ruling, nearly 130 members of Congress, including House Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Mike Rogers (R-MI), Oversight and Government Reform Chair Darrel Issa (R-CA) and Armed Services Committee Chair Howard McKeon (R-CA), have co-sponsored resolutions calling for the delisting of the MEK

Death In Camp Liberty vs. Washington’s Smear Campaign Against MEK http://bit.ly/GIDwbY
As Washington’s smear campaign fire away at MEK, Bardia Amir-Mostofian a 44 year old engineer and resident of Ashraf dies of cardiac arrest due to fatigue after 48-hour-long transit inspection after entering Camp Liberty.

Bardia was one of 700 residents who volunteered to go to the Camp described to be a “prison” by a recent statement by the Council of Europe. (Full statement of Council of Europe) International pleas by the opposition (MEK) alerting the US,UNAMI and International community of a plot to fail the relocation and blame it on the opposition has not been heeded when most needed.

The statement released by the opposition blames Baridas’ death on his extreme fatigue and stress cause by the rush imposed by Iraq and UNAMI to relocate before the Iranian New year. Reports of harassment, attacks, physical threats by Iraqi SWAT teams, who speak Iranian, on the residents at Liberty, have caused serious concerns on the “good will” of the Iraqi side.

The presence of numerous Iraqi police forces, their invasion in the “women’s quarters”, deliberate sabotage on the sewage system and spying instruments improvised around the camp all point to this necessity.
As reported by the opposition, Bardia’s death was caused by prolonged inspection and harassment: “The inspection of belongings began at 8 am on Sunday March 18 and went on until midday on Monday March 19, following which inspections of individuals began. At one point during this offensive inspection, the Special Forces known as SWAT attacked the residents and beat them with electric batons.

The Legal representative of the residents has released a report by Professor Guy Goodwin-Gill in a statement points the blame on Iraqi forces;
“After arriving at Camp Liberty, Iraqi officials under the command of Sadeq Mohammad Kazim (one of the commanders of the July 2009 and April 2011 massacres), sought to conduct yet a further thorough search. During the 48 hour process of search and transfer to Liberty, the residents were constantly subjected to insults. Many of their items were confiscated with no justification. All these matters were reported to representatives of UNAMI at the scene.” (read report at: http://ping.fm/XVTLr)

Mahin Saremi, relative of the Camp residents, former political prisoner and leading activist in the 2009 protests in Iran, reacted to allegations that the Camp leadership and residents are over exaggerating the harassment. While blaming the US FTO list as a pretext for such violations of rights by Iraqi forces she said:
“"Hawks will not pick out hawks eyes." Some pro-Ayatollah pundits have gone over the edge to accuse the MEK of imposing hardship and suffering over the residents. The smear campaign against nobel US officials who protect the truth about the Camp is working against the interests of the US. They are defending promised values by Washington only to keep a good face for it among Iranian people. Accusing the victim of self torture and harassment is not a new tactic. the first sponsor of such propaganda was Khomeini when he accused the MEK of killing its supporters in prisons and in public meetings during the 1980s.
The question is why do the "devils work " for him? Why side with the Ayatollahs against their victim?
"The MEK is not worried of the truth and when ever there has been an iota of justice, the MEK has been the first to out spur the truth. What Washington is doing is giving the Ayatollahs the best gift this new year: Keeping its main opposition as pawn in an illegal FRO list."

Apologies to US Supporters of MEK: Never Support Democracy,http://bit.ly/FVc4on
Side with Mullahs and Tyrants for Immunity in US Elections
by Steffen Hues
March 15, 2012

What could be the reason for Nazi style defamation against certain line of US politicians who have spoken for basic American values: Democracy and Independence?

They are either driven by expedient actions guided primarily by self-interested motives for election or misguided policy steered from Tehran.

President Obama’s campaign mottos included “Organize for change and "Help me take back America". These embrace values embedded in the American Revolution for independence and democracy from British “Illegitimate tyranny” during the 17 century. If “change” and “American values” are still watchwords of the Administration, then it is unequivocal to presume any person “friend or foe” advocating and paying the price to promote them is a staunch.

It is a knife in the back of these friends to accuse them of “risking reputation for speaking for MEK” while they are practically standing resolute against the enemy.

To be crystal clear: It is recreant not to defend such values when the opportunity arises.

Genuine American values, respected internationally, root from the American Revolutionary war and the Declaration of Independence.

“Basic Democracy” is taken for granted today. The composed Greek word (dēmos) "people" and κράτος (kratos) "power" practiced in the “House” today. This good fortune is a consequence of a combined effort of “militias” and “revolutionaries” who confronted British generals such as Gage in deathly and long armed struggle to gain an “Independent” democracy called the “United States of Americas”.

British colonialism tax demands were announced Illegitimate and the rule Tyrannical.

The illegitimacy of a tyrant led to an unwavering armed struggle for independence and democracy.

The same values today can be perverted in an artful hypocritical smear campaign to legitimize appeasement over the same values that made “America” in exchange for short term interests; inglorious to basic American values.

The MEK, the oldest pro-democracy movement in current Iranian history, has been labeled a terrorist despite the fact that they follow the footsteps of “American militias” who fought for the Nations independence from a Tyrannical and colonial system. It observes the same set of values but in Iran’s own social-political and historic context.

It is not a display of courage to daub the truth and vilifying a line of noble US and European gallant men and women who are steadfast to speak it out: Stand with democracy not Tyranny.

Speaking in rallies of a pro-democracy movement is the only credible thing to do if we are to prove our loyalty to American values.

We should not forget that the MEK is the best organized and most formidable opposition to the current Iranian regime. It has challenged the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism for the past 34 years. It is the MEK that provides hope for the current Iranian people that far exceeds what the US and Europeans can offer short of direct intervention.

Littered by ominous tags and labels by the tyrants in theocratic totalitarianism in Tehran for the past 35 years, which is not surprising, they still peruse a democratic and universal platform.

General Hugh Shelton once in a conference (July 2011) said; when you look at the 10-point program of human rights platform published by President-elect Mrs. Rajavi, which emphasizes the same religious and gender freedoms that are emphasized and advocated by the U.S. Department of State, to me, it makes it a no-brainer.

The group's platform declares its commitment to democracy, free speech and sexual equality as well as opposition to the death penalty: 'We recognize private property, private investment and market economy.' The tyrants of Tehran are manifestly unwilling to submit themselves to a free and fair election of its own people which is the central element in the MEK platform.

MEK has served a large and important international interest because of its ability to reveal the clandestine activities of the regime in Tehran in contravention of repeated resolutions by the Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency.

The fundamental question outstanding is why those defending genuine American values are in the line of fire, while our real enemy: The theocratic totalitarian regime; Godfather of terrorism; religious fundamentalism; deception and political fraud is let lose to accomplish its main objective.

Why do we not see a real revelation campaign covering atrocities of the Tehran regime, its pundits in Capital Hill and Europe and its covert NGOs and organisations?

If there is logic behind this opportunist trend, it is flawed.

The best we could serve the tyrants in Tehran is to add diversity and difference in our collective front against one main enemy, not within, but outside: Warmongering clerical fascists in Iran.

We have repeated testimonies of 4000 European representatives, more than 130 House representatives, 1800 jurists, senior officials in our American intelligence and counter-terrorism activities and senior American military officials, along with 7 Highest European Courts, US high Court, French and Spanish High courts: pointing the finger for “terrorism” away from the MEK and to the Iranian Regime.

If Rendell, Romney and many others are to be fingered and smeared, it would only be logical to broaden the litigation campaign and cover thousands more who echo the same: MEK is a pro-democracy movement and anti-thesis to the Tyrants in Iran.

To clarify the contradictions, question marks, and ambivalence we only have to answer two pivotal questions:

Whose side are we on, the “freedom seekers” or the “illegitimate tyrants”?
Which is the obvious enemy and threat to our “values and independence

To clarify the contradictions, question marks, and ambivalence we only have to answer two pivotal questions:

Whose side are we on, the “freedom seekers” or the “illegitimate tyrants”?
Which is the obvious enemy and threat to our “values and independence

(@bl) What is really happening in Iran : Iranian news papers and sources
http://bit.ly/w0yMSC
The infightings within regime still flaring: khamenei trying to curb situation every step of the way
The Clerics Supreme leader has been pre-occupied trying to keep the infightings of within its ranks and hierarchy subtle so prevent any pretexts for uprisings and protests. The society is potentially explosive: none of the so called economic plans of Ahmadinejad have worked, the infightings and differences within the ranks (loyalist conservatives to khamenei ; the perseverance front (Ahmadinejad and Mashaii) , and the remaining so called reformers such as Rafsanjani) have been displayed in official TV broadcasts of the Majlis during Ahmadinjeads’ recent impeachment procedure which was reformed into a “questionnaire”.
Khamenei chose his Expediency Council. Once again he appointed Rafsanjani ( one of the wealthiest clerics in the hierarchy) as the head , but discharged previous members such as cleric Imami Kashani,Mir hossein Moussavi, Mohammad Hashemi (Rafsanjai’s brother) and cleric Rei Shahri. He instead appointed Mahmoud hashemi sharoodi, cleric Iraqi, cleric Mesbah Moghadam, RGC Commander Saffar harandi, RGC commander Vahidi and a number of others in the same ranks as the new members.

It is most probable that Khamanei’s volatile situation does not allow him to rid Rafsanjani off his back. He desperately needs to keep the splitting factions weak and close to him, keep an open door as to control what is happening under his feet.

Ahmadinejad’s so called impeachment in the Iranian Parliament:
Ahmadinejad mocked parliament and supreme Leader
As reported in official papers the whole staged TV show was in favor of Rafsanjani , while Ahmadinejad fired back at some of his personal rivals in the Majilis in his answers.
The impeachment was modified into “10questionnaire” because the supreme leader was trying to prevent an outburst of blatant fighting in the Majilis which would most probably give way to notorious corruption of the hierarchy and weaken his structure. The wuestions included his management of the economy, his defiance of the Supreme Leader and even his views on the hijab and Islam.

There had been a petition before the show but it seems many of the signatories withdrew their signatures and this changed impeachment into a modest questionnaire which was given to him two weeks earlier. The members who withdrew were encouraged by the supreme leader to do so in order to keep the “open battle of fractions” in a low profile.

As agreed by many and as reflected by pro-khamenei loyalists in the Majilis in angry protests; Ahmadinejads replies were only to mock and under estimate the questionnaire. Some of those who did dare to enter the dogfight poured their thoughts into outbursts on the parliament floor; “How dares he to insult the Majlis and the leadership in such audience” said one conservative loyalist.

In return Ahmadinejad who is known for his bad manors and zero culture and ethics, was very rude in tone and frank in examples he put forth to the parliament. In other words he turned the questionnaires into an impeachment of the Majlis members while mocking them most of the time.
Therefore the supreme leader in such staged formality was able to keep the infightings at the lowest possible, while keeping the structure in parts attached.
A point of reminder: When we refer to members of Iranian parliament, bear in mind that most of these appointed members have a history of genocide and corruption and are mostly members of the Revolutionary Guards Corps, or the retired section of the corrupted Cartel.
A book in Farsi had been printed some years ago which I read, describing each one of the members with their astonishing crimes during the 1980s.

Last Wednesday of the New Iranian Year: firecrackers festivities
The Fire Festival (Charshanbeh Suri) in cities across Iran became the scene of protest and expressing outrage of the regime.
At the same time, widespread dissatisfaction has been the centre of activities of the resistance during the “fire” festivities. The “reddening of last Wednesday” which is originally a Zorostian ceremony but has been kept for centuries, has been banned by the clerics. Nevertheless, it allows excuse for gathering and also mocking the security forces of the clerics who are almost in constant battle presence in most main cities of Iran.
Despite lack of access to free Internet and the presence of an organized “Internet police” under the supervision of the Special Revolutionary Guards Corps, people have been able to send reports of the festivities carried out.
In twitter @iraniscc reports from the scene :

A film sent out on You tube in which people, while using the opportunity of festivities chant anti-government slogans
Link to see the clip

It has been reported that in Tehran, numerous districts people successfully carried out the ceremonies and despite regular patrolling of security, they refrained from confrontation with the chants. These areas were: In Pakdasht region, in Nazi Abad, Khani Abad and Tehran Bazaar, In Ferdowsi and Geisha and Vanak Squares, Mehrabad, Narmak, Tehran Pars, and Poonak Shemiran areas, Hakimiyeh, GHaleh Hassan Khan, Towhid Square, Molawi, Dowlat Abad, Golestan, Roodhen and Mahalat.
In other cities the same pattern followed.

Hangings and death tolls and execution orders:
Unfortunately in the past week only at leas 15 people have been hanged (3 sisters included) for various reasons. Some of the MEK family members and also arrested independent students and teachers have been charged with MOHAREBE (being anti-God) which is a death sentence. They await their fate. The bitter irony is that the regime allows prison guards to demand money from families of those hanged in exchange for their corps.
Two of those hanged have been Afghan nationals (Gholam sarani, Gol Ahmad heidari).

(@bl) Fraudcast News On MEK! It Is Time For Responsible Journalism
Read:http://ping.fm/YHVPx

Sadly, once again, I came across a piece written by Josh Rogin on foreign policy which is avoiding every principal of journalistic ethics: references to honesty, avoiding journalistic bias, demonstrating responsibility, striking an appropriate balance between privacy and public interest, shunning financial conflict of interest, and choosing ethical means to obtain information. It would be utterly irresponsible of me to say the piece is not a politically orientated leverage accomplice to the subject of a humanitarian crisis.

As has been the case, I researched and was accommodated with the fact that such fraud-casting is disaster for reputable journalism and must be isolated and disclaimed by the profession. Omission of biased information and facts is the worst any journalist could do to destroy his reputation.

It would be a long and tiresome piece if I were to examine one by one in the bundle delivered by Mr. Rogin the fallacies which undermine one's journalistic integrity, but to stick to the humanitarian concern and volatile situation of Camp Liberty and the relocation of the 4300 refugees. I shall only refer to facts which have not been mentioned in the cast entitled: Are the MEK’s U.S. friends its worst enemies?

The column slams all those who support the Opposition movement MEK and accuses them of being bought. I would suppose then this MEK movement must be a very strong, capable and desirable alternative to the present dithering and tyrannical regime, strong enough to win the hearts and minds of 4000 parliamentarians in Europe, 1800 jurists, arrive to get the maximum vote of 17 parliaments, and a considerable number of US senate votes in its favor.(*6)

This along with many high ranking US officials (*1) who continuously insist they support “Justice” and are in the quest to save the chin of their own government: The broken US promises.

Advertise with OfficialWireIn a few places, the column wastes our time to repeat propaganda outlets regurgitated by the “unknown official” or some in the State Department. For this I will only refer our readers to parts of a document of thousands examined in detail by the POAC court and later some high European courts which override such fallacies and considered any terrorist tag “perverse”. (*5)(Pages 1 to 28 of the Proscribed Appeals Commission documents: An Opposition figure replies the British Secretary of State for Home Department accusations)

Interfering in any judicial, humanitarian conflict in an irresponsible manor may be accomplice to genocide as described in International law.

The world over is completely aware of the battle for life by the pro-democracy movement the Mek in Iraq- camp Ashraf. In a bid to prevent the consequences of being accomplice to any future tragedy for the residents in camp liberty- describes as prison, for Mr.Rogin and his colleague the “unknown” US Official, I tried to “do my home work” and introduce our readers with facts “Omitted” intentionally or unintentionally from the article.

Omitted facts from the article: The true version

January 31 ; UNAMI officeBaghdadpress release « confirmed that the infrastructure and the facilities atCampLibertyis in accordance with international humanitarian standards expressed in the memorandum of understanding.”

What was acknowledged by UNAMI- without the notice of the residents to the press was : The parameters which was first promised to be 60 km is not half 0.683 km (120 times smaller than that discussed) and for every 20 people, one restroom, and for every 100 people, one water faucet would be sufficient!

What was the reality?

Most basic human rights criteria which are to be acknowledged by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, UN High Commissioner of Human Rights, and the World Health Organization were ignored:

-There was no portal water, the place was practically looted and there was no electricity and health facility,

-the sewage system was out of work and sewage was practically over spilling in the place; -Iraqis had not accepted free passage of residents and their contact with lawyers,

-they were not allowed their vehicles and moveable properties with them,

- 3.6 meter high concrete walls were built which encircled the half enclosed area

- An extensive Iraqi military presence controlled every move in the small area, each entry and each location was monitored

- Eavesdropping devices were installed which normally cover an area 10 times of the compound given to the residents

- The residents had no 24 hour presence of UN observers to calm the situation and control Iraqi harassments

- While the residents had the sick and the wounded from previous attacks there were no mention of necessary facilities for the wounded and disabled persons.

- The looted unprepared Camp liberty was suddenly announced as a “temporary transfer location – TTL” to cover up the excessive lack of necessary standards for refugee camps and violating the laws and regulations related to the refugees and asylum seekers.

- The Iraqi commander who was personally responsible for direct shootings and deaths in the previous massacre was involved in the discussion which is contrary to any accepted legal norms, especially since he is called for by the Spanish Court of Justice on charges for genocide.

- On 25 January the Iraqis had made it clear to UNAMI that the residents will be treated as prisoners but this was never spoken by any un-named or official “US Offical”. They had declared the process of “Peaceful transfer of the residents to include Each will first go to Iraqi Headquarters for “Bodily inspections”, their personal belongings will be separated and they will be transferred by Iraqi facility not their own cars, at Liberty they will be finger printed by Iraqi security .

To any honest reader such a procedure reminds one of relocation of the concentration camp prisoners rather than refugees who have already been attacked and killed and bruised by the same forces.

The set-out was clear : either They accept such conditions completely “voluntarily” and concur with them or the blame for the subsequent firing of missiles and then a massacre on the next deadline lies upon yourselves and your leadership!”

- On the expert evaluation of the Camp being of humane standards for refugees, the UNHCR site planner had on January 25 explicitly told Ashraf’s legal advisors that his job was checking and assessing the “infrastructures” and not the standards which is a political matter and is not of his concern. Such are normal proceedings in any prison. To acquire humane standards and re-instate them, neither the UNHCR nor the UNAMI took any responsibility for the residents that the resident would have a counter part to interact and resolve issues.

- The residents still on good will gesture prepared an engineering team to visit the camp and prepare it for the residents who were to move in, this was denied by the Iraqi government with no legal justification only to hamper the effective and smooth relocation of the residents and blame it later on their leadership.

- UNAMI presented photographs of the place ( As it was before the looting that took place) to replace a necessary visit by a team of engineers. The residents in a good will gesture to resolve the matter worked ay and night with the UNAMI representative to resolve shortcomings and barriers caused by the Iraqi government in various letters and propositions.

- The counterparts toIraq(including supposedly the mentioned “US Official”) were not interested in resolving the basic humanitarian needs of the refugees rather than to have a “yes or No” answer. This was when the press statement of the Leadership of the movement resolved the case in another good will gesture announced “at the request of Mrs. Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, since December 30, four hundred Ashraf.”

- Meanwhile Iraqi counterparts to the US , Al-Malki made the situation even worst and announced “arrest warrants for Ashraf residents” long wanted by the Iranian clerics which was complimented later by a statement of Hassan Danaii far of Iranian regime.!

Prior to this Al-Maliki’s intention to massacre the residents at the behest of Iranian regime had been practically proved in two coordinated*2 bloody attacks that left 46 dead and thousands seriously wounded.

- As the SRSG pointed out in the Security Council on December 6: "Any workable solution must be acceptable to both the government ofIraqand to the residents ofCampAshraf. The solution must respect the Iraqi government on the one hand and applicable International humanitarian, human rights and refugee law on the other hand". But this was denied by the Iraqi government and of course the knowledge of theUS“unknown official”.

- Again in separate letters bycampLeadershipandParisleadership they warned of a plot byIranwhich would pour the blame for any human loss or disaccord in the process on the UN and the MEK Leadership, again obviously gone UNNOTICED by the certain “unknownUSofffical”

- This was a plot to dismantle the Iranian opposition and the Iranian regime had not worries to blatantly announce it since it had seen progress on its behalf. On January 30th , the stat run Mehr new agency announced Hassan Danaifar- the mullahs' regime Ambassador in Iraq and a Qods brigade commander, openly stated that consular representatives of the clerical regime would be stationed in Camp Liberty!

- A Lawyers committee of 8500 jurists in their statement warned their clients Camp Ashraf residents not to relocate to Camp liberty under such circumstances because the camp is a would be “prison”.(*3)

- While this article repeate3dly applauds the Iraqi governments efforts in carrying out the plan and beats the MEK leadership for hampering any progress the realities have proven contrary to this :

- The Iraqi government has continuously treated Ashraf residents inhumanely and with denigration. In the last three years it has killed 47 people and wounded 1,071 people or ran over them by armored vehicles. Through imposing a siege and refusal to allow them access to medical services, it has caused the death of 12 residents. While the United Nations is silent about these crimes, the National Court of Spain has summoned those accused of crimes against humanity, war crimes, and crimes against the international community

- In such circumstances, to believe Iraqi government’s respect for the international human rights law when they see that an independent investigative commission reports on the slaughter of 47 residents and, as the High Commissioner of Human Rights, Mrs. Pillay, and the SRSG, Ad Melkert, asked in the April 15th, 2011 statement, holds responsible the perpetrators. While recognizing the residents as political refugees Mr Al-Nujaifi, *4the President of the Iraqi parliament said in a meeting in the EP joined the call for an independent investigation that was never done by any International body or the Iraqi government. Is this to hide the truth?

- Considering the fact that the northern part of occupied Ashraf by Iraqi forces has been looted and the residents have already lost at least 9 million dollars worth of logistics and facilities, they demanded for their basic right to come with their movable objects and sell the rest, which has been denied.

The Question lies: If this is good will gesture on US behalf and Iraqi behalf, what would any one expect of the residents?

Let us not forget that no party so far has taken responsibility for the situation in camp liberty (independent of the Iraqi government who is accomplice to the pervious massacre) and no one has issued a certificate of compliance with international standards yet.

Considering the fact that the victims of two massacres, are put at the stake and delivered to their butchers in plain daylight , with no official acceptance of the situation; considering the above conditions, the plots and the facts it seems it is the“ unknown US official” who has “not done his homework” and has not the least of information about the realities and tragedies ongoing for the survival of the residents in so called Camp Liberty.

The article written by Josh Rogin is manipulative and can pave the way for further heightening of the humanitarian tragedy which thousands of people are trying to avoid including the MEK and its members and Leadership.

We must not and should not manipulate our readers.
